Today we pray for: The World
Scriptures:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
John 3:16-17
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.”
2 Corinthians 10:3
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”

Prayer:
O Lord our Shepherd, you know your sheep by name.
Have mercy and compassion on this world, and clean it of covid-19.
Anoint your people, who are created in your likeness and image,
that they be responsible in these challenging times,
and may know your love, and experience your goodness throughout this period of uncertainty and in the life of the new normal. In the assurance of being known, in your holy name we pray. Amen!
