National Donor Sabbath provides an opportunity for faith communities to join the conversation. Additional information and ways you can help are available on the back table.

***Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and friends, of the tragic events last Sunday in Sutherland, Texas.  Please check out Pastor Lou’s message posted on The Church in Brielle Facebook page.
As a result of this tragic event, there were a couple of requests from the congregation to look into additional protection.  We want to assure everyone that there are no  present threats, but we reached out to the Brielle police to let them know of our concerns and they will have an officer on duty at the Church during worship today.  We are not sure if this will be our long term practice, but we wanted to address the concerns immediately.  We will discuss options at the Administrative Ministry Meeting and then also at Consistory on Monday evening.***

Wednesday Night Alive!
This midweek worship experience is offered for all ages and now includes a youth/young adult vision with hands on teaching from both Pastor Lou and
Freddie Fiorentino as we seek to impart a discipleship and serving environment through relevant discussion and biblical foundation. Come join us at 6:30 pm as we seek to Worship the Savior through word, music, and prayer watching God continue to work in the hearts and minds of his people. All are welcome!

November Agenda

Key Bible Verse: Extend hospitality to strangers. Romans 12:13

November will be a very special month in the life of our church. We will have a three-week series on the future of our church presenting the 5 Kingdom Goals consistory determined during our 10-month discernment process based on our aspiration Being a Center of Spiritual Wellness for the Community.

Last week we oresebted the first 2 Kingdom Goals: addressing accessibility & use of our church building, and the goal to build up our children and youth ministries. We will not have Communion this day. No Communion today. Communion will be on Consecration Sunday, the 19th.

Today we will present goals 3-5: to hold missions trips, increase mental health & support services, and develop body & soul strengthening programs.

Next week we will hold our annual Consecration Sunday when we will thank God for God’s provisions and pledge to support these 5 goals and the work of the Lord through our church in 2018… and our annual congregational meeting will take place immediately after worship in the sanctuary.

Please pray for our church, your pastor and consistory, and the 5 teams that will develop and implement these 5 Kingdom Goals, as well as your part in supporting the ongoing Kingdom work of the Lord, Jesus Christ!  Soli Deo gloria… to the Glory of God alone!
