Who We Are

From the choir to the Consistory, the greeters to the teachers, you can rest assured that the love and caring of Christian fellowship is found and nurtured within this beautiful spiritual home called The Church in Brielle.

Worship and Sunday School are held each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Children join their parents for the first part of the service before being dismissed to class following a special children’s message. The service is graced with choral anthems from the Chancel Choir, at times featuring soloists or instrumentalists. After worship, we all gather together in Fellowship Hall for refreshment and conversation. It is at this gathering where the “church family” becomes as one as we share our stories and glories. Before long you will find that indeed this place is a place where everybody knows your name—A Place for You.

CIB.jpg People. Here at The Church in Brielle we strive to be a caring, accepting, and
helpful group of people. We think it’s important to provide meaningful worship,
sympathetic counseling, and a solid program of Christian education. We think preaching must be biblical and practical. We look to build strong youth ministries and a community of people who support each other in good times and in difficult ones.

As members of The Reformed Church in America, we are part of a fellowship of congregations called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be the very presence of Jesus Christ in the world. The RCA is one of the oldest denominations in North America and we are committed to her calling—to follow  Christ in mission. Faithful Reformed worship begins and ends with God who both inspires and is the object of our worship.
